TikTok's FBT Logistics Transition Has Been Postponed.
Is Your TikTok Shop Ready for the Logistics Transition?
TikTok has postponed the mandatory Seller Shipping phase-out originally set for Feb 25. No new deadline has been announced. TikTok Shop Logistics Services (FBT, Upgraded TikTok Shipping, CBT) remain available but are not yet required. Compliance metrics still apply to your seller account. SellerOps Watcher monitors your account health so you can act before SLAs are missed.

Timeline Update: The mandatory transition date has been postponed. No new deadline has been announced. We'll update this page when TikTok confirms a new schedule.
TikTok's Planned Logistics Transition
TikTok announced plans to phase out Seller Shipping and require all sellers to use approved logistics services. The original Feb 25 deadline has been postponed, but the transition is still expected. You'll eventually need to move to one of TikTok's approved logistics services:
No More Self-Shipping
You can no longer self-ship orders through your own carrier accounts.
Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT)
TikTok stores inventory, then picks, packs, and ships your orders.
Upgraded TikTok Shipping
You keep your warehouse, but TikTok selects the carrier and provides labels.
Collections by TikTok (CBT)
TikTok offers pickup from your warehouse in eligible areas. Fulfillment performance metrics and enforcement still apply from day one.
"TikTok handles shipping now, so I'm safe."
TikTok handles logistics, and FBT provides major fulfillment-metric relief: VTR and OTDR are exempt, while LDR and SFCR receive FBT-specific formula relief. But compliance does not disappear — seller-initiated cancellations, Account Health Rating (AHR), and listing violations (IP, safety, product compliance) still affect your account. Any non-FBT orders you fulfill yourself (including Upgraded TikTok Shipping) still count toward your LDR.
Compliance Thresholds Can Trigger Enforcement Fast.
The transition from Seller Shipping creates new failure modes:
During the Transition
- Orders placed before your logistics migration is complete — you're still responsible for dispatch SLAs
- ERP/shipping app integration issues can delay dispatch confirmations
- Dual-fulfillment confusion: which orders are on the new system and which are still yours
- Learning curve with new label and carrier workflows
After the Transition
- Every non-FBT order dispatched late counts against your Late Dispatch Rate (LDR)
- LDR must stay at or below 4% — cross that threshold and enforcement actions can follow
- Enforcement can escalate: AHR point deductions → reduced visibility → order volume limits → extended settlement periods
- TikTok shows LDR on the Fulfillment Performance page in Seller Center
A handful of late dispatches can push you over the 4% LDR threshold quickly during a transition.

FBT & Logistics Transition Questions
FBT handles logistics — picking, packing, and shipping from TikTok's warehouses. FBT provides major fulfillment-metric relief: VTR and OTDR are exempt, while LDR and SFCR receive FBT- specific formula relief. But your seller account is still accountable for seller-initiated cancellations, AHR performance, and listing compliance. Any non-FBT orders you fulfill yourself — including Upgraded TikTok Shipping — still count toward your LDR.
TikTok Shop requires sellers to maintain an LDR at or below 4%. LDR measures the percentage of non-FBT orders dispatched late out of your total dispatched orders (including FBT). Cross that threshold and enforcement actions can escalate: AHR point deductions, reduced visibility, order volume limits, or extended settlement periods.
Switching to FBT, Upgraded TikTok Shipping, or CBT solves the fulfillment execution problem. It doesn't solve the compliance visibility problem. Whether you're using FBT, Upgraded TikTok Shipping, or a mix, you need to know your current LDR and which orders are at risk. That's what Watcher does.
Watcher works regardless of your fulfillment method — FBT, Upgraded TikTok Shipping, CBT, or any combination. It monitors your TikTok Shop account health metrics, not the fulfillment pipeline.
Watcher monitors order SLAs and sends alerts at T-24, T-12, and T-4 hours before dispatch deadlines — giving you hours of lead time to intervene. Alerts and event history are visible in your dashboard.
Yes. The 14-day free trial gives you full Watcher access at no cost. Watcher starts at $29/mo after the trial — one monitored store included. Start now so you have compliance visibility before the transition resumes.
The Deadline May Be Postponed.
But the Compliance Risks Haven't Changed.
The logistics transition increases operational risk. Missed dispatch SLAs can push your LDR above 4%, which can trigger enforcement actions. SellerOps Watcher helps you spot risk before it becomes a violation.
You don't have to be one of the sellers caught off-guard.
