Quick Start Guide
This guide walks you through setting up SellerOps Watcher from signup to your first monitored orders. The entire process takes about 5 minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Go to app.sellerops.io and sign up. SellerOps uses Clerk for authentication, so you can register with your email address or an existing Google account.
Step 2: Select Your Region
SellerOps auto-detects your region using GeoIP. Confirm or override the selection.
| Region | Supported |
|---|---|
| US | Yes |
| UK | Yes |
Choose the region that matches your TikTok Shop marketplace. If your region is wrong, reconnect the shop with the correct region selection.
Step 3: Connect Your TikTok Shop
Click Connect TikTok Shop. You will be redirected to TikTok’s authorization page where you grant SellerOps permission to read your order data.
Make sure you authorize SellerOps when redirected to TikTok. If you deny permissions, SellerOps cannot monitor your orders.
After you approve, TikTok redirects you back to SellerOps automatically. See Connecting Your TikTok Shop for the full connection guide.
Step 4: Wait for Initial Sync
Once connected, SellerOps pulls your recent orders from TikTok. A progress indicator shows the sync status.
The initial sync typically takes a few minutes depending on your order volume.
Step 5: See Your Proof Moment
After the sync completes, Watcher shows your proof moment page. This page highlights near-miss orders from your last 14 days, orders that shipped dangerously close to the deadline. It shows you the value Watcher would have provided if it had been running.
This is not a hypothetical. These are real orders from your shop that were at risk.
Step 6: Explore the Exception Queue
The Exception Queue is your main operational view. It shows all orders currently being monitored with countdown timers indicating time remaining before each dispatch deadline.
Orders are color-coded by urgency:
- Green: More than 12 hours remaining. No immediate action needed.
- Yellow: 4 to 12 hours remaining. Plan to ship soon.
- Red: Less than 4 hours remaining. Ship immediately.
Step 7: Configure Your Alert Preferences
Email alerts are enabled by default. Watcher sends alerts at three stages before each order’s dispatch deadline: T-24, T-12, and T-4 hours.
On Watcher, email alerts are the active notification channel. Advanced routing (Slack and quiet-hours controls) is part of Defender and appears only when that add-on is enabled.
See Configuring Alert Rules for Defender-specific routing details.
What Happens Next
Watcher is now running. It continuously monitors your TikTok Shop orders and will alert you by email when any order’s dispatch deadline approaches. Your Late Dispatch Rate (LDR), the percentage of orders shipped past TikTok’s deadline, is tracked and displayed on your dashboard with weekly trend data.
No further setup is required. Watcher works in the background so you can focus on fulfillment.
