Connection Problems

Most connection issues are OAuth/session related and can be resolved by reconnecting with the correct region selection.

Expired Connection

Symptom: “Connection Expired” banner appears.

Cause: Automatic token refresh failed repeatedly.

Fix: Reconnect through SellerOps and complete TikTok authorization again.

Authorization Denied

Symptom: Redirect returns without successful connection.

Cause: Authorization was denied on TikTok.

Fix: Restart connect flow and approve the requested permissions.

OAuth State Expired

Symptom: Callback fails with state/timeout behavior.

Cause: OAuth state tokens expire after about 10 minutes.

Fix: Start over and complete authorization promptly.

Shop Already Connected Elsewhere

Symptom: Duplicate-shop error after callback.

Fix: Disconnect that shop from the other SellerOps account first, then reconnect.

Connected But Orders Not Syncing

  • Wait for initial bootstrap/import to complete.
  • Verify you connected the intended shop account.
  • Allow periodic sync cycle to run (reconciler cadence is about 5 minutes).

Region Mismatch

Current integration supports US and UK credential paths.

Shop Region in SellerOps Credential Path Default Timezone
US US TikTok credentials America/Los_Angeles
UK UK TikTok credentials Europe/London

EU-style onboarding aliases currently normalize to UK credential handling. If region was selected incorrectly, reconnect with the correct selection.

Never share TikTok login credentials with anyone. SellerOps uses OAuth authorization and does not require your TikTok password directly.
